- Alleyways at St James Church, Brynsmoor Road and Hobsic Close/Broad Oak Drive.

February 2012 Update
WE DID
1. The local beat team have carried out a number of joint visits with the anti social behaviour officer to known ASB offenders who have been issued with warning letters and suitable advice in the presence of their parents. These youths will be monitored by Police over the coming months. These interventions in conjunction with an increase in high visibility patrols has resulted in a significant reduction in the number of calls of anti social behaviour in Brinsley. The local beat team will continue to patrol these areas.
2. Mobile speed cameras continue to be deployed on a regular basis in Brinsley. This continues to see a high number of motorists prosecuted for exceeding the 30mph speed limit.
Local beat team officers have deployed the hand held radar speed gun on Cordy Lane and Broad Lane. A number of motorists have been stopped and given warnings.
Partnership work is currently underway to apply for traffic calming measures in Brinsley.
Police have offered to set up Community Speed Watch in Brinsley on several occasions. To date, there has been no interest expressed by the local community. If you are interested in volunteering or would like to find out more please contact your local beat team.
3. Operation Accelerate was introduced during January to combat burglary and auto-crime in Broxtowe North. This has seen increased high visibility patrols by all officers within Broxtowe North at hotspot times and locations. This has resulted in a reduction in the number of reported burglaries and autocrime offences within the area. Police continue to patrol all burglary hotspot areas.
A number of search warrants were executed and stolen property recovered which has led to a number of arrests.
Police continue to visit known criminals within the area to monitor and deter them from committing further crimes.
Crime reduction advice and target hardening measures has been provided to residents at home visits, beat surgeries and Patchwalks.
Police continue to sign more residents up to Neighbourhood Alert to raise awareness of crime in your area.
